This brochure is intended to inform international people interested about the intermanagerial programme 'Learning for Sustainability', a four-year programme (2000 to the end of 2003) with the objective to (further) develop and stimulate learning processes that contribute to a sustainable society, an ambitieus objective.
The programme set up is decentralised to ensure that initiatives for 'Learning for Sustainability' are taken throughout the whole country (not only directed from the national government, but appealing to all initiatives on local, regional and national scale, both from governmental actors as NGO's).
This text discloses how the programme started and developed, what we mean by 'Learning for Sustainability', what the programme objectives comprise, how the organisation is structured and, obviously, which activities are conducted with respect to the programme.
