In this essay the author describes three ways to change behaviour. This alteration is urgently needed to protect the environment. The first
issue is the prevailing standards and values, the second is to change the institutional arrangement and the third opportunity is an establishment
in cultural habits and people with different religious convictions. These three ways cause different effects and are working on various time-scales from now until two or three hundred years ahead. A good combination of these three alternatives can change results for the environment in future.
